The Polish climber shattered her own world record twice, which also reset the Olympic Record. She clocked a time of 6.21 seconds in her first run and then an even faster 6.06 seconds in her second, surpassing her previous records of 6.24 and 6.84 seconds respectively.
Miroslaw, a two-time world champion from 2018 and 2019, advanced through the knockout round, defeating Aniya Holder of South Africa.
